The Prairie Inn Harriers society is managed by a Board of Governors and several Venue Coordinators.

As set out by our club constitution the board is charged with overseeing club goverance, finances, administration and operations.  The board consists of 5 to 12 club members elected at an Annual General Meeting held early each year.  From these directors some are selected to fill five defined officer roles: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Registrar.  A director other than president can hold more than one officer role.  Others are known Directors at Large.

In addition to the elected directors, Coordinators are appointed to manage certain club responsibilities and tasks throughout the year.

The President is the chief executive officer of the society and supervises the control of all club business and affairs.  They preside at all meetings of the directors and recognize bylaws of the constitution at general club meetings.

Vice President
Mark Seebaran – vp at pih.bc.ca

The Vice President shall perform the function and duties of the President in his absence.  They will assist the President with tasks such as fixtures, race reports and social events.

Secretary
Dawn Wilson – wildawn or secretary at pih.bc.ca

The Secretary shall keep a book of minutes at all meetings of the directors or members.  They will manage all correspondence of the society.

Treasurer
Bob Reid – bob or treasurer at pih.bc.ca

The Treasurer is responsible for all finances, assets and securities of the society.  They receive and disburse monies from all sources and maintain the financial records of the club.

Membership Registrar

The Membership Registrar is responsible to register all club members in the Harriers database so their names appear on the current membership list on our PIH website.  They are also responsible for updating and registering PIH members that wish to belong to BC Athletics and be eligible for provincial championship events, awards and B.C. team selection in national and international events.

Responsible for representing the Harriers at VIRA meetings and providing liaison with Vancouver Island Runners' Association.
